Mine Planning articles were launched in June 2015 with the vision to help mining engineers maximize the value of their company’s assets. In the initial series Unearthing Best Practice for Mine Optimization, our optimization specialists came together to share technical articles zooming in on different aspects of Strategic Planning, Pit Optimization and Mine Production Scheduling that are essential for developing optimal, yet practical mine plans.

In the new series, the same authors will write about their experience with mine planning for the low commodity price market, which can require a different approach in order to create optimal, practical plans. We hope that our articles will spark new ideas and help you think differently about the challenges you are facing today.
